previously Geekbench benchmarks was reported about Apple six generation iPhone 5 that it have 1.02 GHz ARMv7 process with 1GB RAM. Now “Primate Labs John Poole” has reportedly said that latest version of Geekbench 2 app have much improved processor frequency detection algorithm which systematically reports the A6′s frequency as 1.3GHz instead of 1.02 GHz which was previously reported. Latest version of Geekbench 2 is now available on the app store.

Along with that John Poole had said that Earlier versions of Geekbench had trouble determining the A6′s frequency, which lead to people claiming the A6′s frequency as 1.0GHz as it was the most common value Geekbench reported.”

Moreover they had revealed that A6 chip which is used in iPhone 5 have dual-core CPU and triple-core GPU along with that benchmarks have determined from currently available samrtphone iPhone is world’s fastest phone. Performance test of dual-core A6 chip has revealed that it twice as fast as A5 chip of iPhone 4S. A6 chip of iPhone runs from 800MH to 1.3GHz variable frequencies.

Above image revealed 1.30GHz frequency in test result of A6 chip.
